Wester Hailes is a welcoming, caring church supporting the local community, including older people through the Dove Centre. We meet for worship on Sundays at 10:30 am (with activities for children) and 6:00 pm, plus a midweek prayer meeting on Wednesdays at 7.30 pm.
Founded as a Sunday School in 1949, the church has since grown, with the current building opened in 1973 and extended in 1982. We believe in one Sovereign, Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and the full inspiration and authority of Scripture. Salvation is by God's grace through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection offer forgiveness. The Holy Spirit empowers believers in their faith. We also affirm the universal Church, where all true believers belong, awaiting Christ's return as King and Judge.

Sunday Services
We’d love to welcome you to Wester Hailes Church! Whether you join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. or for our evening service at 6:00 p.m., you'll find a warm, friendly atmosphere where Jesus Christ is worshipped as Lord and Saviour. We believe in the authority of the Bible and its message of hope and grace. Our church is a place where people are accepted, loved, and encouraged in their faith, always pointing toward Jesus. Sunday School
Our Sunday School uses the Go Teach programme, offering fun, Bible-based lessons for children of all ages. The programme covers key Bible stories and teachings from both the Old and New Testaments, including the Gospels, in a way that's easy to understand and engaging. The 3-4s (Beginners) enjoy some repetition of basic lessons, while the 5-7s (Primaries) and 8-11s (Juniors) follow the same exciting topics. Every lesson helps children grow in their faith and love for Jesus!
Wednesday Prayer Meeting
Our weekly prayer meeting on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm is a vital part of our church life. Prayer is the foundation of everything we do—connecting us with God, His word and each other. We encourage everyone to join, as we seek God’s guidance and strength together.
